Virtual Exhibit Hall

The Society was founded in 1990 by Saul Schwarz* and Ruth and Jerome Fien*, to collect, document, preserve, and celebrate the more than 160-year history of the Jewish community that has expanded from its origins on Newark Bay to the Delaware Water Gap.

Ruth and Jerry's children, Mark Fien (Encino, CA) and Judie Fien-Helfman (Washington, DC) while in other parts of the country, continue their parent's legacy and support of JHSMW by donating the archiving and virtual exhibit software used by JHSMW.
